Juanita Hulsey Obituary
Juanita "Nita" Hulsey, of Nashville, passed away at the age of 96 years old. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Frank and Rosalee Hirst, her first husband Willard Lamay, her second husband John Hulsey, two sons: Sonny Lamay and Jerry Lamay, and eight siblings.
She is survived by her son Norman (Becky) Lamay, 2 grandchildren: Troy Lamay and Heather Lamay, and 3 great-grandchildren: Tyler Rose Lamay, Ely Rutledge, and Olivia Rutledge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Juanita was number 8 out of 9 siblings. She was raised in Nashville and lived near the fairgrounds in the same house for 74 years. She was member of Humphrey Street Methodist Church. Juanita loved her dog and many cats, and enjoyed playing the piano.
In honor of Juanita Hulsey's life, a visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Ellis Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 1:00pm located at 2627 Nolensville Pike, Nashville 37211. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery at 2:00pm.
