Tina Marie Whitaker

Tina Marie Whitaker of LaVergne, TN passed away May 12, 2017 at the age of 54. Tina was born on January 16, 1963 to Robert Earl and Jean Marie Bolden, in Nashville, TN. She worked for the Tennessean as a courier for some time before retiring, but her true passion was always being a loving and compassionate person to those around her. Tina was many things to everyone who knew her; she was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, a caregiver and a good friend who touched everyone's hearts. Her love and affection was always noticed and will never be forgotten, as her memory lives on in the hearts of those she touched.

Tina is preceded in death by her father Robert Earl Bolden and brother Kevin Bolden. She is survived by her husband Raymond "Sunny" Whitaker, mother Jean (Gene) Osborne, sons Joshua & Cody Whitaker, brothers Jesse (Wilma) Bolden, Steve (Renea) Bolden, Jason (Rhonda) Bolden and Tommy (Lori) Osborne, sister Pamela (Donald) Farmer, grandchildren; Hunter, Emily, Zaylon, Jada, Jordan and Caiden, and many friends.

In honor of Tina's life, the family will have Visitation Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Service at 12:30 p.m. in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel; Bro. Milton Hicks will be officiating. Tina will be laid to rest at Mapleview Cemetery in Smyrna, TN, shortly thereafter.
