She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene Luke, Anna Burkhart, and John Luke. She is survived by her husband Robert O. Polk, daughter Lori Newbury, siblings Susan Garrison, Gary Luke (Sherry), Dorie Bildens (Ronnie), David Luke (Mary), Elaine Howard, Daniel Luke, and several grandchildren.
