Neva Hunley Obituary
Neva Louise Hunley of Nashville, TN, passed away on January 21, 2020, at the age of 96.
Neva was a homemaker for most of her life, and for 20 years, loved selling Avon all throughout Woodbine. She was also an acrobat in her youth. Neva loved to read her Bible all the time and enjoyed reading the devotional Daily Bread. She loved to be a granny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Neva was loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Wallace Hunley, parents Wilmoth Steele and Minnie Hunt, son Charles A. Hunley, and granddaughter Donna Copeland.
She is survived by her daughters Barbara Whitten and Minnie Hunley, grandchildren: Mary Beth Abbitt (Tim), Willy Abbitt, Barbara Ann Copeland, Carolyn Graves (Joe) Jimmy Keeling, Tyler Fink, Heather (Jay) Fink, Carley Fink, and Christoph Hunley, and great-grandchildren Hope, Liam, Conner, Alexis, Payton, Johniyah and Jeremiah.
In honor of Neva's life, the family will have Visitation Friday, January 31, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, February 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Ellis Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 1, at 11:00 a.m., in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, followed by Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
