Morris Murphy Obituary
Morris Steven Murphy, 59 of Nashville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2020. A native of St Louis, MO, "Steve" moved to Nashville and was employed by ACSI for over 25 yrs. He married Jennifer (Rainbolt) Murphy on December 13, 2013. Steve was an active member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. He was a very talented musician and loved every genre of music. He enjoyed teaching guitar and sharing his knowledge of music.
He is preceded in death by his parents Morris Murphy and Mattie Len (Reynolds) Murphy. Survived by his sisters Valerie Dixon, Beverly Perkins, brother Mike Murphy, and many more loving nephews and nieces. Nephews will be pall bearers: Dalton Turner, Will Gentry, Austin Mulholland, Andrew Smith ,Henri Mambungu, and, David Rainbolt. Honorary pall bearers: Sean Murphy, Mathew Murphy, Ryan Murphy, Brandon Murphy, W. D. "Rocky" Dixon, Jeronimo McArthur, Braxton Greer, and Robert Gunn.
In Honor of Morris Steven Murphy's life a visitation will be held at Mill Creek Baptist Church Friday July 31st from 5pm to 8pm, and the following day, Saturday August 1st with a service at 2pm.
