Larry "Wayne" Litchford

Larry "Wayne" Litchford of Murfreesboro, passed March 4, 2019, at the age of 66. He is preceded in death by his father Frank A. Litchford and mother Dorothy Mae Bennett, sisters Dot Roberts and Nellie Parker, and brothers Kenneth Litchford and Bobby Litchford. He is survived by his loving wife Pamela Litchford, sons Michael Wayne Litchford, Kevin Wayne Litchford,and Daniel Wayne Litchford, daughter Rachel Lewan Orange, brothers Arthur Litchford and Frank Litchford, sisters Joyce Watson, Doris Cunningham, and Sandra Baggett, Grandchildren Hailey, Cohen, and Cooper. Who was Larry "Wayne" Litchford? Wayne was a man of God first and foremost. He loved his wife of 46 years, Pamela, with all of his heart and soul. But from the tender age of 8 years old, Jesus was his first love. He loved his children and grandchildren, his brothers and sisters… and he loved his mama. Wayne was a man of honor, a man of faith, and a man of truth. Wayne was a minister of God and would never hesitate to share the gospel with anyone who would listen. Wayne helped guide many people to the truth and love of Christ… like his childhood friends, Terrell and Jesse, who hold him in such high regard even to this day. Wayne was a talented writer who loved to write poetry and stories and songs and books about love and goodness and God. Wayne loved music and laughter and he had an innocent and child-like sense of humor and a laugh that would make you laugh … just because you heard him laughing. Wayne was a good, Godly man who epitomizes everything that is good and right and pure in this world. Wayne just may be the most honorable, trustworthy, kind-hearted, loving and God-honoring man any of us have ever had the distinct honor to know. Wayne was precious.
