Kelly Simmons Obituary
Kelly Dean Simmons, 41, of Spring Hill, Tennessee passed away with the loving presence of his family at his hospital bedside on Sunday, March 18, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Brandi C. Simmons and their two children, son Elliott, age 16 and daughter, Zoey, age 11. His Step-father, Richard Trypus, sister, Cathy Simmons, his Mother-in-law, JoAnna Neal and brother-in-law, Travis Neal. He has two nephews and three nieces. He has a huge extended family.
Kelly "Dean" worked for Wallace Trailers in Franklin, Tennessee as the shop foreman of the company.
Kelly was a well-respected man by his peers, his friends and his family. Very hard working and very driven to provide the best life possible for those he loved the most.
Kelly enjoyed the outdoors as his hobbies included riding four wheelers and dirt bikes, working in his shop on cars with his favorite project of refurbishing his 67' Mustang with his son. He enjoyed camping trips, canoeing and taking his kids sledding in the Winter. He liked spending time in the yard planting gardens with his daughter each Spring.
Married to Brandi since January of 2002, they were fortunate enough to live and travel in more than one place over the years. Originally from Florida, he and his wife ran a successful Lawn Service business for many years, after looking for new opportunity, they moved to North Carolina where he opened up his Brake Shop for a few years before finally deciding to settle for good in Tennessee.
In Kelly's short life, he experienced great things and some trying times but always overcoming obstacles with grace and strength.
Til his last battle in life, he fought with the most powerful strength he had, he was simply known to so many as "Superman".
His children will live on with the guidance of the greatest man in their lives, their amazing father.
Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 in the afternoon at Flat Rock Pub in Columbia, Tennessee.
