Houston Ramsey Obituary
Houston Thomas Ramsey, 84, graduated high school, joined the Army, and graduated MTSU where he played football. At church, he met and married the love of his life, Cora Ellen Ramsey. He is survived by 2 children: Thomas Rock Ramsey (Joyce) and Timothy Thomas Ramsey (Diane), grandchildren: Brittney Ramsey and Matt Eason, sister Patsy and brother Robert. He is also survived by niece Lorie Farris and great nephew and niece Justin Farris and Ciara Farris.
He was fun and had many talents like playing guitar, singing, writing poems, and even drawing. He enjoyed gardening and family. He retired from Metro schools as a teacher. He counted his blessings daily.
A visitation will be held at Ellis Funeral Home in Nashville located at 2627 Nolensville Pike 37211 from 9:00am until 11:00am with a service following at 11:00am. Interment will be at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens at 1:00pm.
