Goldie Combs Casas

Goldie Combs Casas, was born Wednesday, August 12, 1942 in Pryor, OK. She lived for 72 wonderful years until she went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Goldie was a dedicated member of Wingate Church of Christ, and also worked with the Nashville Rescue Mission. Goldie is preceded in death by her parents Harvey Walter Combs and Kathleen Mingle, brothers: Roland, Edward and Lorenzo Combs, and sisters: Nita Martin and Alice Berry. She is survived by her sons, Harvey and his wife Sharon and Walter Casas, daughter, Sandra Reed, 5 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
The family visitation will be Saturday April 18 and Sunday April 19, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Gassaway Church of Christ Liberty TN. Interment will follow at Sycamore Cemetery.
