Dianne Lee Cavanah of Nashville, died on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Dianne was born on November 22, 1953 in New Orleans, LA, the daughter of Bert Cooper and Betty Jackson.
She worked for the State of Tennessee for 25 years, recently retired from Edison.
She is survived by son John Steven Cavanah, daughters Elizabeth Jane Duncan, Karen Alleen Margieson, and grandchildren Zoey, Caitlin, Ethan, and Elise.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. In her spare time she loved spending time with her grandchildren, drawing, and considered herself a devout foodie.
The service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, November 21 at Mill Creek Baptist Church, 318 Wallace Road, Nashville TN, 37211. You may arrive up to 30 minutes prior to the start. In place of flowers, please consider a donation of hats, scarves, or throw blankets to the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Centre Infusion Clinic in Dianne's name.
