Barthela Seward Obituary
Barthela "Bert" Seward, (Nee Sanders) of Nashville, TN went to be with our Heavenly Father on November 18, 2018, at the age of 84. Bert was born to Arthur and Zelma (Hall) Sanders in Waynesburg, Kentucky. When she was 17, she moved to Ohio where she married Robert "Bob" Seward. She had three daughters; Wyvetta, Robin and Shawna.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Seward and daughters Robin (Seward) Taylor and Shawna Seward, Sisters Shirley (Sanders) Buckler, Brothers Howard, and Carl Sanders. She was survived by her daughter Wyvetta (Seward) Hood and Grandchildren Christopher and Pamela Hood, Jessica (Taylor) Warren, Paul Barnes, Michael Miller, and many nephews.
She loved Jesus, her family, traveling and meeting new people, Gospel music, collecting things, Reese's Cups, Dr. Pepper, listening to and attending The Grand Ole Opry, NASCAR racing and her country music stars, many of which knew her by name.
Bert was very independent, sometimes working three jobs at once without missing a day of work. At 76, she decided to settle down and she moved to her favorite city, Nashville, TN. She had many friends through her love of country music and frequently attended the Grand Ole Opry. She enjoyed life and got to experience it like no other.

The family will have Visitation Friday, November 23, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until time of Service at 6:00 p.m., in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Bert will be interred Monday, November 26, 2018, at Mapleview Cemetery.
