Alfreda Davis Campbell died October 28, 2018, at the age of 59, at Vanderbilt Medical in Nashville after a lengthy illness. She was born September 19, 1959, in Nashville, to Eugene and Beatrice Watkins. She attended McGavock & Glencliff High School. She worked for years as an in-home healthcare provider. In 1978, she married Rayburn Davis Sr. and had three children.
In 2004, she married Samuel Davis Campbell. They attended the church of the Messiah where the pastor, Bryan Williams Sr. presides. Alfreda served as a mother of the church, helping people in whatever capacity she was needed.
Alfreda is preceded in death by parents Beatrice & Eugene Watkins, and sister Charlene Byrd.
Alfreda is survived by her husband, Samuel Campbell, sons Jerome & Timothy Davis, daughter LaStacia (Mario) Childress, sister Ruby (Jesse) Barnes, grandchildren: LaDonta, Timothy, Jordan, Mason, and Sasha Davis. Kamarri, Kaiden, Kamran and Kailani Childress. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
