Jo An Severns

Jo An Severns passed away peacefully on Monday March 4th, 2024 from complications of Dementia. She was born August 11, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to Dale and Florence Herbert. Jo married J.E. Bert Severns in 1974, the couple had three sons together, Jacob Severns of Kennebunkport, Maine, Joshua Severns (Leslie) of Nashville, TN and Joey Severns (Gretchen) of Chevy Chase, Maryland.

Jo is survived by her ex-husband, three sons, and her two sisters Jane Thompson (Mike) and Judy Livengood both of Traverse City, Michigan,  her six grandchildren, Fletcher Calvert, Lauren Calvert, Cassidy Severns, Luella Severns, Wallis Severns, and Campbell Severns as well as her nieces and nephews.

Jo was an artist, dancer, and talented creator. She loved to read, see movies, and craft. She was most proud of her three sons and leaves behind a legacy of love for family and friends. Jo worked many places over the years, but enjoyed her work as an activities director for seniors most of all. She was most happy spending time with her sisters and sons. The family asks that you paint, write, sculpt, craft in her honor. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers they ask a donation be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
