WYATT-TAYLOR WESTLEY HENDRICH
"Even the smallest of things that you do blossom and multiply far beyond you"
-From You're Here For A Reason by Nancy Tillman
Wyatt-Taylor Westley Hendrich, beloved son of Beau and Beverly Hendrich, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus at 5:53pm on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017. He spent his last two days at home surrounded by mommy, daddy and big sister amidst tears, laughter and singing. His little body is now made perfectly whole in the presence of his Savior.
"Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." -Matthew 19:14
Born prematurely, Wyatt was diagnosed with ARPKD and Caroli Disease. Despite multiple health complications, Wyatt's life has touched countless hearts around the world. His journey has compelled perspective, strengthened faith and deepened love in truly transformational ways. The level of impact this little "Warrior" has made on this world is still being discovered and will not be known fully this side of heaven.
"And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." -Romans 8:28
The greatest and most beautiful miracle of Wyatt's life was becoming the answer to Beau and Beverly's prayers, by becoming their son. He met his forever family at five weeks old, on August 7th and knew nothing but love and belonging until he took his last breath at 4 1/2 months of age. "Wawa" is survived by his parents and sister Jude as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Wyatt-Taylor's life will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 10am in the chapel at Brentwood Baptist Church. A private reception with close friends and family to follow. A special ceremony will be held at a later date for the burial of Wyatt's ashes and the planting of a tree in his honor.
As an expression of sympathy, the Hendrichs are requesting donations of the children's book You're Here For A Reason for all the babies in the NICU at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. A basket will be available for drop off at the memorial service. (Link to purchase: https://www.amazon.com/Youre-Here-Reason-Nancy-Tillman/dp/1250056268)
