Robert Younker Obituary
Robert Lee Younker Sr. was born on November 2, 1934 in South Fork, Pennsylvania. After 80 wonderful years of life, he passed away on July 17, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents Theodore & Pearl Younker, brothers Clarence, Paul, and Dan Younker, and sisters Almeda Swank & Laura Young.
He is survived by his wife Geraldine, sons: Robert L. Jr. (Donna), David (Vanessa), Kenneth R. (Mijung), Gerald J. (Bernadette), Kevin M. Sr. (Sandra), and Michael F. (Jody) Younker Sr., daughter Deborah (Jerry) Wasson, sisters: Pearl Gahagen, Betty Williams, Bessie Walls, & Rose Ames, sisters-in-law, Betty & Barbra Younker and numerous nieces and nephews.
Survived by 26 grandchildren: Christopher Younker, Jeffrey (Terri) Younker, Kimberly (Daniel) Kaucz, Joshua Younker, Sherry Younker, Kellie Fagan, Keith Ray, Andrew Schweitzer, Kenneth (Kathryn)Younker Jr., Brianna Younker, Bryan Younker, Jennifer Younker, Gerald Younker Jr., Shane Younker, Jared Younker, Justin Koenig, Kevin Younker Jr., Tara (Jonathan) Curry, Nicole Van Druff, Michael Curry, Jason Dorcey, Lia Dietz, AJ Nielsson, Taylor Nielsson, Alyssa Nielsson, and Gracie Wasson.
Survived by 21 great-grandchildren: Caileigh Monigle, Riley Kaucz, Andrew Weeks, Noah Weeks, Ayden Younker, Anthony Younker, Abigail Schweitzer, Lane Schweitzer, Adalynn Younker, Cole Fagan, Tyler Younker, Spencer Younker, Juliana Garcia, Isabella Garcia, Giana Rivera, Scarlette Younker, Emma Van Druff, Nathan Curry, Joshua Hernandez, Elijah Baiocco and Layla Farrell.
In honor of Robert's life, the family will have a visitation for friends and loved ones on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Ellis Funeral Home, from 4:00pm until the time of service at 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alive Hospice or The Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
