Obituary
Phillis Dawn Hipsher, age 56 of Nashville died, Monday, May 4, 2015 at Alive Hospice in Madison after a short illness. She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Dawn Copeland Clendenning, son-in-law Robert, and grandsons Dylan, Drew, Dustin, and Dean; sister Rev Dr BK Hipsher of Boston, brother Philip Hipsher of Nashville, niece Jenny Marie Hipsher, nephew Chase Hipsher, and many other family members. She was preceded in death by grandson Devin Clendenning and parents Rev. Howell and Martha Hipsher, formerly of Sparta, TN.
Phillis graduated from White County High School in Sparta and spent most of her working career as a 911 Dispatcher for Metro Nashville Police Department from which she retired.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Glencliff United Methodist Church, 2901 Glencliff Road
Nashville, TN 37211. The family invites her friends to gather with them for the service and a light lunch following.
