Pearl Blankenship Obituary
Pearl Hensley Blankenship was born on October 16, 1930 in Farmers Exchange, TN. On July 18, 2015, she passed away at the age of 84. Pearl graduated from Lewis County High School in 1948. She then worked in the medical field all her life. After 20 years at General Hospital, she retired in 1995.
Preceded in death by her parents Ray & Oma Hensley, and her husband Billie Ray Blankenship. She is survived by sons William (Dayna) and Bruce Blankenship, sister Martha Decamp, grandchildren: Faith Elizabeth, Mathew Ray, Gregory Andrew, Amber Leigh, and Sarah Beth, along with 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will have a visitation for friends and loved ones Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Ellis Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The service will be held Wednesday, July 22, at 10:00 am with Steve Durham officiating. Interment will follow at the Lewis County Memorial Garden in Hohenhald, TN.
