Paul Givens Obituary
Paul Givens left this world too early but died peacefully at home on July 5, 2016 at the age of 60.
Paul is survived by wife Jennifer, children Sharon Bitner (Danny), Jessica Callis (Michael) both of Lebanon, TN. Siblings, Brenda McKnight of Portland TN, Larry Givens (Kim) of Dickson TN, David Givens of Holliday TN, Martha Long (Tommy) of Nashville TN. Grandchildren, Morgan and Tyler Bitner, Reese and Maddox Callis. He is preceded in death by his parents Junior Dee and Naomi Pearl Givens, brothers, Gary & Roy Givens all of Nashville TN.
Paul was born on December 26, 1955 in Nashville TN. His children remember him as MR. NO, kind-hearted, funny, witty, strong-willed, meticulous, insightful, honest, hardworking, and intelligent father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
He loved Jeff Gordon, Nascar, football, fishing, traveling, beach and anything in the ocean and spending time with his grandkids.
A funeral is scheduled for 1 pm on July 11, 2016 at Ellis Funeral Home in Nashville TN, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Givens, David Givens, Bryan Harrison, James Harrison, Michael Callis and Danny Bitner. Brother Clint Jones will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Paul's life. The family would like to thank Saint Thomas West 7c Nurses for their efforts, care and dedication.
