Naomi Marie Walton

Naomi Walton, age 92, of Nolensville, TN, died at Bethany Health and Rehabilitation Center on 15 Jul 2016. She is survived by children Darlene Sadler of Ocala FL, Cheryl Zook of Herndon VA, David Walton of Spain and Karen Kettrey of Nolensville TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her youngest child, Rebecca Clancy of Murietta CA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many family members throughout the United States and in Spain. Naomi Walton was born in Hamilton, Ohio and lived in Ohio until retiring from nursing and moving to Nolensville TN 16 years ago. She loved and was loved by her family and her many friends. She loved playing cards at the College Grove Senior Center, reading and traveling. She liked watching sports and enjoyed playing baseball, bowling and ice skating when younger. Naomi was a registered nurse, working in hospitals and nursing homes in the Cincinnati Ohio area. In keeping with her wishes, a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, 26 July at 2PM at Nolensville's Sunset Hills Southern Baptist Church, where she was a member. Ellis Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to The Gideons or the American Cancer Society.
