Herman Batey Obituary

Herman J. Batey of Nashville, TN passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the age of 81.
Preceded in death by his parents Jim & Maude Batey and son Jimmy Batey. He is survived by his wife Ida Batey, daughter Melynda (Carlton) Sutton, brother Floyd Batey, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will have a Memorial Service Saturday, January 30, 2016, 10:30 a.m., at Ellis Funeral Home. Roger Eakin will be officiating. Friends are invite to visit with the family from 9:30 am until 10:30 am prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Avalon Hospice.
