Doyle Eugene Maddox

Doyle Eugene Maddox was born November 27, 1935. He passed away September 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruby, his father Doyle and his wife, Sammie Lee. He is survived by his sisters: Ellen (Tom) and Dorothy (Ed); children: Alan (Melody), Dianna (Mike), Vikki (whom he treasured like a daughter), Brian (Kristina), Ben (Rachael); grandchildren: Chris (Abby), Jennifer, Jeffrey (Christa), Kenny, RJ, Noah, Savannah, Adriane, AJ, Aspen; great-grandchildren: Ian, Cooper, Ally; nephews: Rock (Joyce), Tim (Diane), Justin; nieces: Lori, Brittany, Ciara. Doyle also has been blessed with a loving group of cousins who have remained closed throughout the years.

Doyle was an honorable man who cared deeply for his family and church. He will be greatly missed by those who love him. In lieu of flowers, he asked that donations be made to Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, September 15, 2017, 4pm-8pm, and Service will be Saturday, September 16, 10:30am at Ellis Funeral Home, with Bill Blair officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Garden.
