Claude Drummonds Obituary
Claude Taylor Drummonds, age 79, passed away on February 18, 2018. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Shirley; children, Jeff and wife Gina Drummonds of Brentwood, Tennessee, David and wife Valerie of Woodstock, Georgia, and Lamar Drummonds of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; tgrandchildren, Katie Drummonds of Washington, DC, Brooks and Hays Drummonds of Brentwood, Tennessee, and Grey and Anniston Drummonds of Woodstock, Georgia.
Claude was born in New Tazewell, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Mossie Drummonds, sister tEdna Drummonds, and brother Odra Drummonds. He was a wonderful piano playert and loved to play and listen to gospel music. He was a real estate broker for many years in tMorristown, served as President of the Morristown Lions Club, and was a member of the Morristown Kerbela Shrine Club. In addition, Claude was a member of Jefferson City Christian Church.
The family will host a celebration of Claude's life at Jefferson City Christian Church, 1439 Hicks Road, Jefferson City, Tennessee on Saturday, March 3. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Bob Emmert will officiate the service. You may share in his memory by supporting Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc., 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37919 and the Jefferson City Christian Church
