Brenda Snipes Obituary
Brenda Laverne Snipes was born on October 13, 1940 in Nashville, TN. After 74 wonderful years of life, she passed away on September 27, 2015 in the comfort of her home. Brenda resided in Murfreesboro, TN, where she worked in child care and took credit for raising half of the neighborhoods children.
She is preceded in death by her parents Walter & Edith Sherrod, husband George Snipes, daughter April Snipes and brother Joe Sherrod. She is survived by her son Frank (Debbie) Snipes, daughter Christie (Dennis) Shults, brothers Claude Sherrod and Leon Sherrod: grandchildren Maxwell and Kelbie.
The family will have a visitation in honor of Brenda's life, on Thursday, October 1, 2015, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Ellis Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, at 11:00am, in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Brenda will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
