Braden Goldman Obituary
Braden Finley Goldman passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the age of 59. Braden was a generous, loving soul who was a member and mentor of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 25 years. He spent countless hours donating his time mentoring prisoners in recovery in AA. Braden was a family man, who loved his family unconditionally, and absolutely loved being a poppy to his grandchildren.
Braden is preceded in death by his parents, James Braden Goldman & Edna Catherine Goldman, and his dog Ellie.
He is survived by his wife Penny Welch, step-sons Duane (Mandy) Peterson & Christopher (Ginny) Campbell, daughters Denise (David) Borte & Jessica (Christopher) Melton, and his grandchildren: Cameron Toland, Alexander Peterson, Charlotte Peterson, Piper Campbell, Trey Borte, Quinn Borte, Ethan Bradley Borte, Caroline Melton, and Christopher Melton Jr. and his dogs Cheech and Reesey.
The family will have a visitation Monday, July 28, 2014, from 12:00 pm until time of service at 2:00pm.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee, which can be made at www.somethingextra.org.
