Anneliese Fleming Obituary
Anneliese Ella Fleming, lovingly known as Anna, was born September 1, 1924 in Magdeburg, Germany. She came to the USA in 1957, aboard the USS Patton, with her two children- Francis E. Williams and Ernst (Ernie) J. Fleming.
She is survived by her two children, Fran Williams and Ernie Fleming, beloved grandchildren Erik (Stephanie) Williams, Jeff (Gina) Christianson, great-grandchildren Tyler & Connor Williams, and David & Andrew Christianson, and many nieces and nephews.
Anna as she was known to her many friends, was a cosmetologist in Germany and retired from Spring/Tennessee Tufting in Nashville, where she was also a dedicated worker who earned many Attendance Awards. She loved to cook and bake and was famous for her delicious pies, cakes, Christmas cookies and puddings. Anna loved to garden, eat out and shop, she was proud to be German, and most of all, she adored her loving family and her dogs.
In honor of Anna's life, the family will have a Memorial Service for friends and loved ones to attend and commemorate her memory on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. A short visitation will be held prior to the service, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Nashville Humane Association at http://www.nashvillehumane.org/.
